Responsibilities and Key Performance Areas

As the Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse. Your key performance areas will include:

Patient Record Keeping: Ensuring that all patient clinical records are maintained and updated in accordance with the deadlines, policies, procedures, and NRC standards.

Financial Management: Ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are followed in the unit, including confirmation, billing, private patients, stock, waste, etc.

Equipment Maintenance: Managing and maintaining all medical equipment in accordance with NRC’s technical policies and procedures.

Requirements and Competencies

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Registered as an enrolled nurse or Clinical Technologist Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse or equivalent NQF 4 qualification Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable healthcare legislation

In addition to the above requirements, you should possess the following competencies:
